What is the condition of the Discount Notebook equipment?
Products are listed with a designation for condition. New, Discount, Discount or As-is are the primary designations Discount. Discount Notebooks made available for sale on SOLECTRON DIRECT have completed a stringent refurbishment process to help ensure customers' satisfaction. Each system is graded on its cosmetic condition, tested for functionality, cleaned and individually packaged prior to being made available on our online Notebook store.

Can I customize / upgrade the Discount Notebook system I am interested in? Systems are already boxed for sale and can not be modified prior to shipment.

Does my Discount Notebook purchase include any application software? It will vary from system to system. Each system will have details regarding the operating system and/or any included application software..

Does an AC adapter come with the Discount Notebook I am viewing? An AC adapter ships with each HP Pavilion.

Does SOLECTRON DIRECT Export Discount Notebooks? SOLECTRON DIRECT does not ship Discount Notebooks outside of the United States. The credit card Discount for the purchase must also have a billing address in the USA. The credit card billing address must match the billing address provided in your checkout.

Why is tax charged and how much tax will be assessed to my Discount Notebook purchase? Solectron Direct is required to collect and remit sales tax on all items sold based on our business operations. Sales tax is calculated based on the "ship to" location rate during the checkout process. Contact Solectron Direct at our customer service email address, solectrondirectservice@solectron.com  prior to placing an order if you wish to use a valid tax exemption certificate for your Discount Notebook purchase. We'll require copy of the applicable certificate and will require processing time to validate, approve and assist in creating your order using an exemption.

When will my Discount Notebook order ship? Shipping typically occurs within 2 business days of SOLECTRON DIRECT receiving your completing your order information with payment processed. When your order ships, a shipping confirmation email including tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with your account.

Is there an option for same day shipping on my Discount Notebook?  At this time SOLECTRON DIRECT does not guarantee same day shipping from the date the order was completed as we generally require 1-2 business days to process and ship an order. For Overnight and 2nd Day shipping options, your estimate for delivery should be from the date we ship the order, not the date that your checkout is completed. Overnight and 2 Day shipping rates do not include Saturday delivery.
